Sponsored by Goodheart Wilcox, the MCTA fall leadership conference will be held in partnership with the MSDE Division of Career and College Readiness. The event will take place in the Crystal Ballroom located within the Turf Valley Resort. The conference will run from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and include a buffet breakfast and buffet lunch for all participants who paid the $75 registration fee. Registration is now closed and tickets are no longer available.
Turf Valley Resort has also provided MCTA leadership conference participants with optional room accomodations for individuals or groups who are travelling long distances. Guest room rates are per room, per day and are subject to prevailing Maryland State sales tax (currently 6%) and local county room tax (currently 7%.). A Maryland State sales tax-exempt certificate does not necessarily exempt individual from Howard County room tax. Turf Valley Resort provides complimentary wireless high speed Internet access in all guestrooms and suites.

MCTA’s guest room rates will be honored for our attendees three (3) days before group arrival and three (3) days after group departure based on availability. Attendees can call in directly to the hotel to make their reservations by dialing 410-465-1500 or 1-888-833-8873, please reference the CL# 28B1RJ when making your reservations in order to get the discounted rates. All rooms reserved must be held on a guaranteed payment basis by the attendee’s credit card.
